Book a flight for you or a loved one

You can submit a request online when you book. Your request must be submitted at least 48 hours before your first flight departs. Please make your request as early as possible.

How to submit a request online

When you are booking online,

  • After having selected your flights:
    • Select "I need special assistance" in the Passenger section
    • Select all the fields that apply to your situation and needs.

We will get in touch with you directly if we need additional information regarding your request.

Selecting seats for your flight

You can select your seats after purchasing your ticket inMy Bookings. If you were unable to choose your seat, you will be seated together at the airport. We guarantee that we will seat a passenger with a disability with their companion, at the very latest, on the day of departure of their Air France flight.

Useful information

  • Consider booking a direct flight in order to ensure a smooth trip and minimize the handling of your wheelchair.
  • Does your trip include a connecting flight? We recommend allowing a minimum of 1.5 hours transit time between your flights.
  • Is your flight operated by a partner airline? If your flight is operated by one of our airline partners, their rules will apply. 
    • If you have booked your flight with Air France and requested special assistance, we will transfer your request to the airline operating your flight. We recommend that you contact the partner airline to check if your request was received.
